During my never ending search of that online auction site, I ran across an NOS pair of MCM exhaust shields, still in the wrappers. The same day, I found a set of forks from an old Yamaha YZ for less than the cost of lunch. The day that stuff showed up in the mail, my friend Jeff Dillon handed me a never mounted Wassell fender and told me to build a bike for it. The engine and front frame loop were already gathering dust in a corner of my shop. With parts in hand, and Painter Chris campaigning for knobbies every time we put a bike together, I knew where we were going before we even started....
